緣起

四元數科技有限公司(Quaternion Cosmos Co., Ltd. ; www.QCosmos.com.tw) 創立於
2012年8月.創辦人是葉富榮先生.公司主要的業務如下所示:

( B )	自創產品的介紹與銷售
	我們使用Zometool Inc.的零件, 組合成『圓滿 (Satisfaction)系列』與『融合(Fusion) 系列』的產品
	( i )	主要是依據球(Sphere)內接最多的正多邊形(Regular Polygon)所組成的正二十面體(Regular Icosahedron;面 (Face)=20,邊(Edge)=30,頂點(Vertex)=12)的Zome 模型與正16胞體(16-cell)的Zome 模型所組合兼具藝術與科學之美的產品.
	( ii )	其中包含黃金比例(Golden Ratio), ,自相似(Self-similarity)與五次的旋轉對稱(Fivefold Rotational Symmetry) 等特性.

	1960 :	葉富榮出生於現基隆市(位於這個宇宙中的銀河系中的太陽系中的行星之一 _地球上的台灣)
	1973 :	畢業於成功國小(位於桃園市)

	2012 :	創立四元數科技有限公司(位於台北市)

( 2 )	葉富榮與四元數 (Quaternion)的邂逅
		1989~1996年, 葉富榮任職於桃園龍潭的中山科學研究院時,研究:
		(i)	慣性量測單元(Inertial Measurement Units, IMU)
		(ii)	微機電慣性感測器(MicroElectroMechanical Systems(MEMS) Inertial Sensors)
		(iii)	慣性導航系統(Inertial Navigation System, INS)
		(iv)	以四元數所表示固裝式慣性導航的演算法 (Strapdown Inertial Navigation Algorithm Based on Quaternions)
		(v)	全球定位系統(Globe Positioning System, GPS)
		(vi)	整合式導航(Integrated Navigation)
		(vii)	群論(Group Theory)

	他邂逅了<四元數>且從此與<四元數>結下了不解之緣. 威廉.哈密爾頓爵士, Sir William Rowan Hamilton , 於1843年發現了四元數, 他是愛爾蘭的物理學家,天文學家與數學家. 葉富榮於 2013年寫了一首詩:『四元數的心靈(Quaternionic Mind)』如下所示, 以表達他對威廉.哈密爾頓爵士的敬仰.




	四元數的心靈(Quaternionic Mind) 四元數是我心靈的顯微鏡與望遠鏡我學習去利用它: 自由地穿梭在四元數的時空中...; 自在地享受那充滿驚嘆, 美麗...的想像之旅...; 真摯地傾聽著宇宙所訴說那不斷的四元數幾何的故事...

	葉富榮曾在2005年某天偶然地觀看Discovery Channel節目時,了解到: 地球能夠穩定地自轉且繞太陽公轉,月球扮演著很重要的角色. 但是,月球卻正逐漸地遠離地球中 , 若失去了月球, 地球將再也無法穩定地運動, 而地球上所有的生物, 將無法繼續生存下去. 於是他有感而發,代表地球寫了一首給月球的詩:『無盡的愛(Endless Love)』如下所示, 以感謝月球數十億年來默默地付出.



	無盡的愛(Endleass Love) 突然驚覺妳(月球) 已逐漸離我(地球) 而遠去...; 內心深處有著萬般的不捨與無奈! 不禁回想起那日夜相依的時光...; 我們為彼此深深的情愫所互相吸引著! 雖然終究任誰也逃脫不出宇宙的自然法則...; 但妳默默地付出我將珍視直到天老地荒! 給妳, 我的摯愛...月球! 地球書於2005年5月20日
